Welcome to Castle Cottage
Castle Cottage provides diver, surfer, cyclist and walker friendly accommodation. It is located in the village of Ayton in the Scottish Borders, close to Eyemouth, St Abbs and Berwick-upon-Tweed.
Castle Cottage offers an ideal base for exploring the spectacular Berwickshire and Northumberland coastline and the historic towns of the Border Country.
Our aim is to provide comfortable accommodation in the relaxed surroundings of our family home.
For those guests with an interest in outdoor pursuits, we offer washing, drying and secure storage facilities for dive/surf kit and cycles.
Castle Cottage is within easy reach of a wide range of dives sites along the Berwickshire coast, including St Abbs Voluntary Marine Reserve. As divers ourselves, we are happy to provide guests with information on local dive sites, equipment and boat hire.
Information is also available about the variety of routes and trails for cycling and mountain-biking in the Border Country.
